Punjab TET 2019 last date today, apply at pstet.net; check important instructions

NEW DELHI: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB), on behalf of State Council of Educational Research & Training, (SCERT) to conduct the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) on Sunday, December 15, 2019.

The last date to apply for appearing in the PSTET 2018 is today i.e., Monday, November 25, 2019.

Eligible candidates can apply for this test online on the PSEB official website www.pseb.ac.in.

Candidates in their own interest are advised not to wait till the closing hours to submit their applications. PSTET will not be responsible if candidates are not able to submit their applications due to the last minute rush.

Only Indian nationals fulfilling eligibility criteria can apply for PSTET-2018. Only online applications are allowed. manual/paper applications will not be entertained by the board.

Candidates are advised to retain the print out of the confirmation page and bank challan/receipt for future references. Candidates need not to send the hard copy of the confirmation page or any other documents to the office of PSTET.

Candidates should have a valid personal e-mail ID. It should be kept active during the entire PSTET-2018 process. Registration number, password, and all other important communication will be sent on the same registered e-mail ID. Candidates are advised to check regularly their e-mail for any communication from PSTET regarding PSTET- 2018.

A candidate can apply only once, candidate found applying twice may lead to cancellation of candidature.

Candidates should take utmost are to furnish the correct details while filling in the online application. Any mistake committed by the candidate will be his/her sole responsibility. No change will be accepted through offline mode i.e. through fax/application or by email etc. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

Before final submission of online application form, read the declaration carefully and give your consent on it. You are required to upload a recently take scanned photograph and signature in .jpg format. Photograph preferably taken on or after November 1, 2019 only have to be uploaded (preferable width 150px and height 200px) and size less than 20-50 KB. Signature size should be less than 2-20 KB (preferable width 140px and height 60px).

The maximum file size for Photo and signature is 50 KB, failing which you will not be able to complete your application. So you must check your information details carefully before final submission of your application form.

General Instruction

Online application process has to be accomplished in three steps
1) Registration

2) Fee Deposition and
3) Online application form filling

Subsequent steps will start on next working day of preceding step.

Information and other details provided while filling up the online application must be cross checked before submission.

Candidates are also advised to keep at least 10 copies of the photographs that is uploaded in the application form.
