There are many small shopkeepers, businessmen and traders in our country who earn daily and maintain themselves. And after the age of 60, they have no support for income, so the Central Government has implemented this scheme. Under the PMKYM scheme, people between the ages of 18 to 40 years can apply and after attaining 60 years of age they are given a pension of 3000 per month by the government. For this, the applicant for 18 years will have to pay a premium of Rs 55 per month and a maximum of Rs 200 per month for those aged 40 years.
