NTA releases CSIR NET 2019 result @csirnet.nta.nic.in


NEW DELHI: CSIR NET December result 2019 has been declared by the National Testing Agency on Wednesday, January 15, 2020.

Candidates, who had appeared for the CSIR NET December 2019 examination, can check their score on the official website through candidate login by entering their registration number and date of birth.

The result has been released in the form of a scorecard on the official website of the exam. Candidates can check their CSIR UGC NET result by logging into their registered accounts.

According to the schedule published by the NTA, the CSIR NET December exam result was to be announced on December 31, 2019. The result declaration was delayed due to the postponement of the examination for Assam and Meghalaya candidates to December 27, 2019.

Two separate merit lists, one comprising of the candidates qualifying for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF-NET) and the second, of those candidates qualifying the Eligibility Test for Lectureship (LS-NET)/Assistant Professorship, has now been released on the official website – https://csirnet.nta.nic.in/.

The same can be access through the link made available on the website and the candidates need to click on it to view their results. Candidates may “login and click link for display of their results.

Along with the CSIR NET December result, the NTA has also released the final answer key for CSIR UGC-NET examination on its official portal.

Candidates qualifying for JRF (NET), are eligible for Lectureship/ Assistant Professorship (NET) subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down by UGC. The candidates qualifying for Lectureship/Assistant Professorship are eligible to be considered for recruitment as Lecturers as well as for Junior Research Fellowship in a Scheme/Project, if otherwise suitable. However, they will not be eligible for Regular JRFNET Fellowship.

Candidates qualifying for the award of JRF (NET) will receive fellowship from CSIR as per their assignment or from the Schemes with which they may find association. The candidates declared eligible for Junior Research Fellowship under CSIR Scheme and Lectureship/ Assistant Professorship will be governed by CSIR Rules/Regulations in this regard.

The Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination Provisional Answer Key was released on January 1, 2020. The Challenges against the Provisional Answer Keys were accepted up to 11:50 pm on January 3, 2020.
