The member of the famous band ‘Clannad,’ Noel Duggan, was found dead on October 15, Saturday evening, at 73. The news of his death was announced publicly by the band.

Who is Noel Duggan?

Born on January 23, 1949, and raised in Dore of County Donegal in Ireland, Noel Duggan is a member of the Irish band Clannad which was formed in 1970. Clannad was formed by Pól, Ciarán, and Moya Brennan, along with their uncles Noel and Pádrag Duggan. Noel was the guitarist and the vocalist of the band. 

From playing cover songs in pubs to playing their own on the big stage, the band grew in popularity internationally through their song “Theme from Harry’s game. “The band is known for incorporating traditional Irish styles with new-age music. Some of their most notable awards and achievements are Song of the year in the Billboard music awards in 1992  and Best New age album in the 1999 Grammy awards. In addition, they were nominated twice for Best New Age album in Grammy awards in 1994 and 1996.
