Nikshay Poshan Yojana (NPY) 2020
Nikshay Poshan Yojana was launched for the entire country in April 2018 by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. Through this scheme, the government provides a sum of 500 rupees per month to the patients suffering from TB of the country. The benefit of Prime Minister Nikshay Poshan Yojana 2020 has been availed by more than 13 lakh people so far. To apply in this scheme, the beneficiary has to apply online by visiting the official site.
Pradhan Mantri Nikshay Poshan Yojana 2020 – Key Features
The beneficiary who is receiving benefits under this scheme is taken full care of by the central government until they are fully cured. Apart from this, the funds provided through this scheme are directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiary. If a person does not have a bank account, then he can transfer this amount to another person’s bank as well. To transfer money to another bank, the consent of the beneficiary is mandatory.
Eligibility for Nikshay Poshan Scheme 2020
- If a person has TB disease after 1 April 2018, then he can avail of this scheme.
- The benefit of this scheme can also be availed by those who are already undergoing treatment for TB disease.
- All those patients who are already registered on the Nikshay Yojana portal can also avail of this scheme.

Document Required for Nikshay Poshan Yojana 2020
All the applicant who wants to register under this scheme then they need to required some documents i.e.
- Application Form – The applicant required to have the application form for the Nikshay Poshan Yojana 2020.
- Doctor’s certificate – Apart from this the patient also required to have the doctor’s certificate which mentioned that the patient is suffering from TB.
The candidates can fill the application form by visiting the Government and private health care centers. After the enrollment candidates can get the benefit of this scheme.
