Maharashtra: Free counselling and coaching centre for external students of Class X and XII

PUNE: Gen Y Academy in Pune has announced free consultation and coaching for students who wish to appear externally for their board examinations in class X and XII via various boards such as National Institute of Open Schooling or Maharashtra State Open Schooling or via Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education’s provision of Form 17.

Students who failed in class IX, homeschoolers, or others not in the formal schools are given training in the academy.

“We train children with learning disabilities, slow learners, children having attention syndrome, and other issues. Students can drop difficult subjects like Mathematics, science, languages and can pass their board exams through NIOS or other options. Expat parents, non traditional parents, and parents supporting their children for pursuing their careers in the field of music, sports, fine arts, and etc. can also seek help for their wards via our academy,” said Harshali Murudkar, an official from Gen Y Academy in a written statement.

The official notification further said, “The students have to choose 5 subjects out of 14 subjects for NIOS Board Examination. For the benefit of students from different parts of Pune, Gen Y Academy has started branches at Aundh, Baner, Kothrud and Warje.”
