Ukrainian officials announced the death of former Ukrainian President Leonid Makarovych Kravchuk. he served as the country’s first president after getting independence in 1991.
When the media focused on the war and the country’s political news, it became evident for everyone to know about the death because of his first president. However, the cause of death was not disclosed by his family.

Kravchuk was voted into power as Ukraine’s first president when Ukraine became a free and independent country in 1991.
On December 8, 1991, Kravchuk signed a memorandum of understanding officially disintegrating the Soviet Union with the leaders of Russia and Belarus.
Ukraine’s new administration, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, praised Kravchuk, describing him as “a man who knew how to find wise words and say them so that all Ukrainians would hear them.”
“This is especially important in difficult, crisis moments. When the future of an entire country may depend on the wisdom of one person,” Zelenskyy continued.
” He knew the price of freedom and with all his heart wanted peace for Ukraine. I am sure that we will accomplish this. We will achieve our victory and our peace.”
“Leonid Makarovich knew the price of freedom. In a video conference on Tuesday, he wanted peace for Ukraine with all his heart,” Mr. Zelensky said, pledging that the country will indeed accomplish that harmony.
