In its 12th year now, the festival will witness more than 30 hospitality schools from India and also a team from Ireland that will be participating in 12 competitions which are based on the core hotel operation areas.
This event has been assured a huge support from Savitribai Phule University (SPPU) as well as Pune Hoteliers Association.
The finale will be an exciting awards night and the theme this year is ‘Casino’. Malojiraje Chhatrapati, secretary of AISSMS, said in the statement that he firmly believed that such activities help aspiring students to hone their skills and are much more effective than the routine classroom teaching sessions.
As a part of the event, the awards night will witnesses hoteliers interacting with the student community. It will be an evening of fun after three days of intense competitive work. The hospitality industry appreciated the efforts taken by the college in creating such a huge platform for the aspirants, added the statement.
College principal Sonali Jadhav said, “Atithya provides a platform for students to come together and compete with each other. Just like last year we have international teams participating as well, which will help our students to meet participants from all over the globe. The best talent gets recognized during these three days.”
