School education department has come up with the upgraded version of Mshikshamitra which has option for schools to register or renew the affiliation.
The department has made it compulsory for those schools whose affiliation will get over on March 31 to get it renewed through the app, district project coordinator Akshay Rathore told TOI.
“This is the first time that the department has come up with the mobile app for getting affiliation for schools. The department is getting everything done through app be it attendance of the students or the updating of the result of the end line test and half yearly examination,” he added.
The schools will have to unlock affiliation on the portal and this will end the affiliation of the previous year. So, the schools will be able to make use of app to renew the affiliation.
“Those schools that have already downloaded it for attendance and updation of results will now have to upgrade the app to get the renewal option. The schools will have to login in the app through the previous ID and password. If new registration is done, it will get cancelled,” said Rathore.
The information related to the school including number of teachers, classes and other documents along with pictures will also have to be uploaded through the app and in case of incomplete information, the form will be considered invalid.
