A. Coverage – DOLE-AKAP Application Form Abu Dhabi

1. General/ Documented OFW, as described in 2016 Updated POEA Rules and Regulations apply to these:

1. Who maintains a valid passport and secure a visa or allow to stay and work in the making country; and
2. Whose commitment of work has been prepared by the POEA or the POLO.

1. Those who were first proper or documented workers but for any purpose or reason have consequently lost their regular or documented state;
2. Candidates who are not listed with the POEA or whose records were not prepared by POEA or the POLO, but have initiated efforts to regularize their contracts or status; or
3. Candidates who are not listed with the POEA or whose records were not prepared by POEA or the POLO, but are active OWWA members at the time of availing.

B. Eligibility – DOLE-AKAP Application Inquiry 2021

2. We must still be living in overseas jobs, or in the Philippines as Balik-Manggagawa, or have already been sent back to the Philippines; and
3. You must not receive any assistance or financial assistance from receiving countries/employers.

C. Application Process – How To Fill Up DOLE-AKAP Form?

For OFWs who have been repatriated/Balik-Manggagawa OFWs who have been repatriated to the Philippines and Balik-Manggagawa are directed to apply online by using below given simple steps

1. In the first place, visit http://dole-akap.owwa.gov.ph official website.

a. Passport Photo Copy or Travel Document

b. Flight Ticket Copy or boarding pass evidencing return to the Philippines or entry stamp/sticker added in the Passport.

c. Overseas employment Proof-like valid established away profession, OEC, residence I.D.s, visa/re-entry visa, among others or allow to stay in the making country.

d. Proof of loss of employment as a result of coronavirus or proof that the host country has been included in the list of those most affected by Covid-19 (eg. notice of termination of employment or closure of a company-issued by a Foreign Recruitment Agency or principal/employer, report of termination of employment submitted by employer POLO affiliated, Philippines Embassy / Consulate / POLO / OWWA certification/relocation due to COVID-19, among others.)

e. On Appropriate Unlicensed Work – proof that he or she and the employer have made the necessary documents to place his or her residency in the country to be treated as copies of the employment contract, payslip, work visa, or other proof of employment.

f. When uploading the required requirements, click the “Submit” button where the confirmation will appear. In addition, a system-generated verification receipt will be sent to your email.

4. The OWWA Regional Office concerned through its OWWA Officials will conduct the verification/evaluation of applications received in full documentation requirements, and approve/deny the application, whichever is applicable. During confirmation or confirmation of submitted documents, our OWWA Officials may call you with the contact details provided or FB Account. Please cooperate and be ready to show the actual documents, an id is required.

5. Once approved, your documents will be sent to the relevant DOLE Regional Office for funding transfer or PESO Net, within 4 to 5 working days after approval.
