Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya declares Doctoral Entrance Test results

INDORE: Consulting with all the deans of University Teaching Departments (UTDs) Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) declared Doctoral Entrance Test (DET) results after a delay of over a fortnight on Tuesday.

As per the report of probe committee, the examination was conducted as per the rules and no question was out of course as pointed out in the complaint of former executive council member of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Ajay Chordia.

The deans agreed with the report of the committee and gave a green signal to declare the result, DAVV vice-chancellor Dr Renu Jain told TOI.

“We have uploaded the result on the varsity website,” she added.

After a delay of over six months, the offline entrance test was conducted on December 22 in which 2921 out of the 4406 candidates comprising almost 66% of the total had appeared for the exam. Although, the varsity was expected to declare the result on January 5, it was due to the complaint lodged by Chordia that the result got delayed.
