NEW DELHI: Department of Forests & Wildlife, Government of NCT of Delhi, has invited applications for the direct recruitment of Forestry staff for the posts of Forest Ranger, Forest Guard & Wildlife Guard/Game Watcher.

Interested and eligible candidates can fill the online applications from 10:00 am onward on January 14, 2020 up to 11:59 pm on February 13, 2020. The closing date for submission of online application is up to February 13, 2020, 11:59 pm after which the link will be disabled. Candidates should note that applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected.

Delhi Forest Guard recruitment 2020: Educational Qualification
Forest Ranger: Essential: (a) Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering from any recognized University/Institute with one of the following subjects:
(i)Agriculture (ii)Botany (iii)Chemistry (iv)Computer Application/Computer Science (v)Engineering Agriculture/Chemical/civil /Computer/ Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical (vi)Environmental Science, (vii)Forestry (viii)Geology (ix)Horticulture (x)Mathematics (xi)Physics (xii)Statistics (xiii)Veterinary Science (xiv)Zoology.

Forest Guard: Essential: 12th/ Senior Secondary examination passed from a recognized board.
Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi.

Wildlife Guard/Game Watcher:
Essential: 10th pass from recognized Board/Institute.

Delhi Forest Guard recruitment 2020: Application fee

Application Fee will be Rs. 100/- for all categories of posts.

All Female Candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Schedule Tribes are exempted from paying application fees.

The application fees will be paid through online mode only. No other mode of payment is accepted.

If a candidate wants to apply for more than one post, he/she needs to apply separately for all such posts. In case of any clash in the test date/time for any two or more posts, candidates need to decide the test they would like to take.
Department of Forests & Wildlife, Govt. of NCT of Delhi will not entertain any such request for change in test date/time later on.

If a candidate opts to apply for more than one post, in that case, separate application fee shall be payable for each and every application.

The eligible candidates will be issued an admit card three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The admit card will be made available on the Department of Forests & Wildlife website – http://forest.delhigovt.nic.in – for downloading by candidates. No admit card will be sent by post.
