IWST has said that the project spread over three years involves field work, data collection and identification of the species in different wards under BBMP. “Candidates inclination towards nature, college students, lectures, science students and other persons who can devote their time and energy for the exercise can join the census exercise. Mobile app has also been developed feeding collected data and uploading to BBMP server. Volunteers student and other will be awarded certificate after completion of project,” said a media communication from the Institute.
Interested candidates can register online via bengalurutreecensus.org and deadline for the registration is December 31, 2019.
